About Jayar Construction

Jayar Construction Co., Inc. was founded in 1973 by J. Roger Glunt. For 33 years, Jayar Construction has been active in the residential construction industry, producing numerous homes, town homes, and apartments. The firm has also developed and produced light commercial projects in recent years. Presently, J. Roger Glunt and Deborah Morgan operate Jayar Construction Co., Inc.

J. Roger Glunt
J. Roger Glunt, a 1960 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, was the 1969 president of the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, the 1976 president of the Pennsylvania Builders Association, and the 1993 president of the National Association of Home Builders. Roger was recognized as Builder of the Year by the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh in 1970 and also was honored as Builder of the Year by the Pennsylvania Builders Association in both 1973 and 1980. He was inducted into the National Housing Hall of Fame in Washington, D.C. in 1999.

Deborah Glunt Morgan
Deborah Glunt Morgan, a 1983 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, has been an active participant in the residential construction industry in the Pittsburgh market for 13 years. Debbie was the 1996 president of the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh Women’s Council. The National Association of Home Builders Women’s Council honored her as the 1997 Woman of the Year.
